- There is one God, who exists eternally as the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, John 10:30, Romans 8:9).
- The Bible, comprised of the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Peter 1:21, 2 Tim 3:16-17).
- God created the universe by speaking it into existence and created it in six literal days as written in the book of Genesis (Hebrews 11:3, Genesis 1-2). This is based on a plain reading of Genesis and Jesus’ own references to Adam and Noah as actual people.
- Jesus is Lord, and by Him, through Him, and for Him, all things were created. (Philippians 2:9-11, Colossians 1:16)
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God and became a man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, some 2,000 years ago. Jesus was fully God and fully man and never sinned. (Matthew 1:18, Titus 2:13, John 1:14, 1 John 4:2, Hebrews 4:15)
- Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He was buried, and on the third day, rose again. After forty days, He ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. (1 Corinthians 15:3-7, Acts 1:3)
- Jesus is returning to the earth in His Father’s glory with His angels. (Matthew 16:27)
- People were created in the image of God, but the first people, Adam and Eve, rebelled against God, bringing sin and death into the world. Since the Fall, all people have a sinful nature and face eternal punishment unless they are saved through Jesus’ atoning work on the cross. (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3, Galatians 5:19-21, 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, 1 John 2:2)
- Salvation comes by grace through the blood of Jesus for those who repent of their sin and believe in Him, being born again of the Holy Spirit and receiving the hope of eternal life with the Lord forever. (Ephesians 1:7, Acts 2:38, John 3:16-17)
- The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement but dwells inside believers to guide, teach, sanctify, and empower them. (John 16:8-11, John 16:13, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
